Inspired by Tea Mamut`s recipe, Croatian pastry chef.




160 g cold butter, cut in cubes
120 ml natural yogurth or cream
2 eggs
300 g fine gluten-free flour, preferebaly cake mixture*
1 tbsp. of baking powder
2 tbsp. of sugar
1/2 tsp of salt
200 g fresh strawberries, cut in pieces
1 egg + extra sugar for washing

Traditional cake from the north of Croatia, my childhood cake.
Only, when I was a child, my mom and grandma used pure corn flour. But today, I mostly make like this - thanks to my granddaughter Natasa who adjusted the old recipe.
